Little Angels on Earth

A boy that could make you smile with his determination

The first moment I saw him he stole my heart

He wrapped his arms around me and held on tight

He made me happy to be who I am

He pushed me to achieve my very best

My best should have been his best

But he and I both failed

I just want to gather him in my arms again

I want to tell him that it will be alright

I want to look into his eyes and know that I helped him

But alas that can not happen now

He is and always will be my saddest memory

They sent him back home

I prayed that it would be alright

My prayers were not answered

He was just a little boy

Parents so cruel

To the angels on this earth

Protect him above my lord

Cherish that blessed soul
